Next Up North: 2026 North Boroughs Community Conference is a regional gathering designed to unite the communities of Bellevue, Avalon, Emsworth, Ben Avon, Ben Avon Heights, Westview, Brighton Heights, and Perrysville around a shared vision for community engagement, economic development, and collaborative growth. I will give a presentation titled Building Social Capital in Emsworth at 10:15AM.

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY
Meet your local Borough government candidates and have a coffee and a treat at Anchor and Anvil in Ben Avon. All residents of Emsworth will vote at the Borough Building. You must belong to a political party to vote in the primary election. A full list of candidates for each party is available on the Allegheny County Elections Department website as well as sample ballots and other important voting information.
MAY 25TH, 2025 — SUN. 10:00AM – 10:00AM
Avonworth Post #866 Memorial Parade
The parade will begin at 10 AM in Emsworth and will go to Ben Avon along Center Avenue. Veterans will stop at each Borough’s war memorials to lay wreaths. The service will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church in Ben Avon at 11:30 AM. Those participating in the event are asked to assemble in Emsworth at 9:30 AM.
